DAY 2 - VENICE: Awake in Venice, a city of gondola- filled canals and grand marble palaces. Cruise through the Venetian Lagoon to Mazzorbo. Admire paintings by Tintoretto and Veronese and cross the famous Bridge of Sighs to the historic prison. Built in the 16th century, it was used to take prisoners from the courtroom to the dungeon. DAY 3 - VENICE: Start your day with a food tour of Venice’s hidden gems. Visit the famous Rialto Market, on the banks of the Grand Canal, explore the diverse neighbourhood of Cannaregio, and stop at Castelletto, Venice’s first red-light district. DAY 4 - VENICE AND CHIOGGIA: Sail to picturesque Chioggia, where pastel houses overlook a web of serene canals. In the afternoon, explore Padua’s medieval architecture and tour the grand Basilica of Saint Anthony, one of the most frequently visited holy sites in the world. Return to Venice for evening entertainment and a gala meal on board. DAY 5 - RETURN TO THE UK: After breakfast, disembark at 9am for your airport transfer and return flight to the UK.
