Day 11: Nha Trang to Saigon B/L/D Today, enjoy a day of island hopping, starting with a trip to Mun Island. Enjoy lunch on Con Se Tre island before returning to your hotel, have dinner, then board the overnight train to Saigon.^ Day 12: Saigon B/L/D Arrive in Saigon early and transfer straight to your hotel for breakfast. Spend the afternoon visiting the Reunification Palace and nearby Notre Dame Cathedral. Next, travel to the French-style Saigon Post Office then finish at the colourful stalls of Ben Thanh Market. Day 13: Saigon B/L Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Return to Saigon for an afternoon and evening at leisure. Day 14: Saigon to Mekong Cruise B/L/D Leaving Saigon, embark on a three-night cruise along the Mekong Delta, journeying to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. First, visit Can Tho, then continue to Cai Be for a guided walk to a rural village with the chance to meet the locals. Day 15: Mekong Cruise B/L/D Depart early in the morning with an excursion on long rowing sampan boats allowing you to meander through the small canals of Tan Phong islet. This afternoon, the boats moor at the charming colonial town of Sa Dec. Return to the vessel for a sunset cruise and dinner on board. Day 16: Mekong Cruise B/L/D Arrive at Cao Lanh after breakfast, disembark for at Tan Thuan Dong islet where you can enjoy a gentle cycle around or simply explore by foot. As the boat manoeuvres through Cho Vam canal, delight in a sunset cocktail party on the top deck. Day 17: Mekong Cruise to Phnom Penh B/L/D After an early breakfast, transfer to Phnom Penh by speedboat for your tour. Visit the Royal Palace and marvel at the ornately gilded Khmer roofs, solid gold-encrusted Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Next, explore the National Museum that houses Khmer art from throughout the ages. Day 18: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap B/D This morning, tour the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. Later this afternoon, continue by coach to Siem Reap. Day 19: Siem Reap B/L/D Visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, then the Bayon with its beautifully crafted towers. From here, visit Baphoun, Phimeanakas and the Elephant Terrace. Lastly, see Ta Prohm, the perfect place to watch the sunset. End the day with dinner and an Apsara dance performance. Day 20: Siem Reap to the UK B Depart for your return flight, via Hanoi or continue to your chosen extension.
