Day 1: UK to Delhi Depart the UK on your overnight flight. Day 2: Delhi L/D On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel before embarking on a tour of New Delhi. Day 3: Delhi B/L/D A full-day of Delhi commences after breakfast beginning with the historic old city. Visit the regal Red Fort before continuing to New Delhi. Day 4: Delhi to Agra B/L/D Depart Delhi for a train journey to Agra. In the afternoon, visit the vast, red sandstone Agra Fort. Day 5: Agra to Jaipur B/L/D Embark on a tour of the Taj Mahal, then drive to the Pink City of Jaipur, before arriving in Jaipur. Day 6: Jaipur B/L/D Today, visit to the Amber Fort and travel to it’s centre by Jeep, before an afternoon tour takes you to the City Palace and the Hawa Mahal. Day 7: Jaipur to Bikaner B/L/D Following breakfast, drive to Bikaner, stopping en route for lunch. Bounded by sand dunes and situated on an elevated plain, this vibrant desert town is fondly known as the ‘camel country’. Day 8: Bikaner B/L/D Start today with a tour of Junagad Fort. With its unique structure, marvel at the amazing network of havelis - mansions with courtyards and balconies of red sandstone and marble. Return to the hotel for lunch and the rest of the day is at leisure. Day 9: Bikaner to Jaisalmer B/L/D This morning, head to the ‘Sun City’ of Jaisalmer, located in the great Thar Desert. After check-in, visit some of the main attractions including the Jain temples and the golden Jaisalmer fort itself. Day 10: Jaisalmer to Manvar B/L/D Today, you’ll drive to Manvar and after lunch, you will be taken on a desert Jeep safari to see some of the rural life of the surrounding areas. Later, enjoy a camel ride into the Thar Desert. This evening witness the sunset with a cultural performance and dinner under the starlit skies. Day 11: Manvar to Jodhpur B/L/D After breakfast, proceed to the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur, with a visit to the mighty Mehrangarh Fort then on to Jaswanth Thada. Day 12: Jodhpur and Bishnoi B/L/D Spend a morning at leisure before an afternoon visit to a tribal village in the nearby Bishnoi. Day 13: Jodhpur to Udaipur B/L/D Leaving Jodhpur, en route to Udaipur, visit the world famous Ranakpur temple complex. Stop for lunch before arriving at your hotel in the city. Day 14: Udaipur B/L/D Affectionately known as ‘The Venice of the East’, visit the City Palace, lining the eastern shore of Lake Pichola, before making a stop at Jagdish temple. Day 15: Udaipur to Delhi B/L/D This afternoon you will fly to Delhi where your day will be spent at leisure. Day 16: Delhi to the UK B After breakfast, transfer for your return flight, or continue on to your chosen extension.
