Hoi An Siem Reap Van Pass, before reaching Danang. Relax or explore the area before reconvening for dinner. Day 9: Hoi An B/L Today will begin with a walking tour of the town which ends at the Pagoda Bridge. Then, after lunch, the rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. Day 10: Hoi An to Nha Trang B After breakfast, it’s time to board the train for the day-long journey to the coastal city of Nha Trang. Day 11: Nha Trang B Today is at leisure where you can take some time to kick back and relax on the beautiful beach or explore the sights of Nha Trang. Day 12: Nha Trang to Saigon B/L/D Today you will enjoy a tour of Ponagar Tower, an impressive Cham Temple situated 2km north of Nha Trang. After visiting the temple you will have lunch before boarding your overnight train to Saigon^. Day 13: Saigon B/L/D Arriving early, transfer to your hotel for breakfast. Spend the afternoon visiting the Reunification Palace and nearby Notre Dame Cathedral. Next, travel to the French-style Saigon Post Office then finish at the colourful stalls of Ben Thanh Market. Day 14: Saigon B/L Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Return to Saigon for an afternoon and evening at leisure. Day 15: Saigon to Mekong Cruise B/L/D Leaving Saigon, embark on a three night cruise along the Mekong Delta, journeying to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. First, visit Can Tho, before continuing to Cai Be for a guided walk to a rural village with the chance to meet the locals. Day 16: Mekong Cruise B/L/D Depart early in the morning with an excursion on long rowing sampan boats allowing you to meander through the small canals of Tan Phong islet. This afternoon, the boats moor at the charming colonial town of Sa Dec. Return to the vessel for a sunset cruise and dinner on board. Day 17: Mekong Cruise B/L/D Arrive at Cao Lanh after breakfast, journey to Tan Thuan Dong islet by boat where you can explore by bike or on foot. As you continue through Cho Vam canal, delight in a sunset cocktail party on board. Day 18: Mekong Cruise to Phnom Penh B/L/D After an early breakfast, transfer to Phnom Penh by speedboat for your tour. Visit the Royal Palace and marvel at the ornately gilded Khmer roofs, solid gold-encrusted Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Next, explore the National Museum that houses Khmer art from throughout the ages. Day 19: Phnom Penh to Siem Reap B/D This morning, tour the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. Later this afternoon, continue by coach to Siem Reap. Day 20: Siem Reap B/L/D Visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, then the Bayon with its beautifully crafted towers. From here, visit Baphoun, Phimeanakas and the Elephant Terrace. Lastly, see Ta Prohm, the perfect place to watch the sunset. End the day with dinner and an Apsara dance performance. Day 21: Siem Reap to the UK B Depart for your return flight, or continue to your chosen extension. ^PLEASE NOTE: Overnight train from Nha Trang to Saigon, single travellers who have not chosen to upgrade to a private single cabin will be allocated a shared twin cabin.
