Day 2: Bangkok D Arrive this evening and transfer to your hotel. Day 3: Bangkok B/L/D After breakfast, visit a salt and coconut farm before continuing to Damnoen Saduak floating market. Join haggling locals as you explore this busy maze of colourful stalls. Travel to the River Kwai for lunch at a floating restaurant, then visit the infamous bridge and the WW2 cemetery. Return to Bangkok with tonight’s dinner at a barbecue restaurant. Day 4: Bangkok to Chiang Mai B/D After breakfast, depart for your flight to Chiang Mai. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, join your group for dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy a Thai Classic Dance. Day 5: Chiang Mai B/L/D This morning, journey to the hilltop temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and its shimmering golden stupas. The mythical ‘Naga’ (dragon-headed serpent) staircase leads you upwards to the temple grounds where you can take in sweeping views of the city before a cable car ride. Browse the delicate sculptures at a local jade factory before lunch and an afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy an Khantoke dinner. Day 6: Chiang Mai to Sukhothai B/L/D Depart Chiang Mai this morning, travelling first to Lampang to explore Wat Pongsanuk Temple. Drive onward to Sukhothai, with the rest of the day at leisure. Day 7: Sukhothai to Bangkok B/L/D Explore the palaces and temples of Sukhothai Historical Park and Sri Satchanalai Historical Park. After dinner, board your overnight train to Bangkok. Day 8: Bangkok to Siem Reap, Cambodia B/D After an early breakfast, visit the impressive golden Buddha at Wat Traimit Temple then take a relaxing stroll through Chinatown. This afternoon, fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where the rest of your day is at leisure. Day 9: Siem Reap B/L/D Enjoy a full-day tour of Angkor Wat, visiting ruins, palaces and the temple of Ta Prohmset amongst the towering trees. Day 10: Siem Reap to Battambang B/L/D Journey to the city of Battambang where you’ll visit Wat Ek Phnom Temple and two local markets.
