Mount Rushmore Day 1: UK to Denver Depart the UK on your flight to Denver. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Day 2: Denver to Keystone B Journey to Keystone. En route, stop at Cheyenne and the former military outpost of Fort Laramie. Day 3: Keystone Today begins with a visit to the famed Mount Rushmore, then onto the Crazy Horse Memorial before continuing to tour Badlands National Park. Day 4: Keystone to Buffalo Today takes you to Buffalo nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. Stop en route at the historic gold rush town of Deadwood, before your overnight stay in Buffalo. Day 5: Buffalo to West Yellowstone Embark on a tour of the Battle of Little Bighorn, then head to West Yellowstone for your overnight stay. Day 6: Yellowstone B Enjoy a full-day tour of Yellowstone National Park, the world’s first ever national park. Full of colourful hot springs, spouting geysers, and bubbling pools, Yellowstone is a wonderland of natural scenery. Retire to your hotel for your overnight stay. Day 7: West Yellowstone to Jackson B After breakfast, drive to Grand Teton National Park, a 1,300km reserve that boasts pristine lakes, snow- capped mountains and extraordinary wildlife. Later, travel to the valley town of Jackson Hole. Day 8: Jackson to Salt Lake City B/L Visit Logan Canyon, a canyon that runs through the Bear River Mountains, as you travel to the beautifully vibrant Salt Lake City. Day 9: Salt Lake City B After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Temple Square including stops at the Tabernacle and Temple Square visitor centre. The afternoon is at leisure for you to explore this wonderful city. Day 10: Salt Lake City to Cortez B Visit Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, before continuing to Cortez, a town that sits alongside ancient Anasazi sites. Day 11: Cortez B Tour Mesa Verde National Park, where the ancestral Pueblo people lived for 700 years in over 600 cliff dwellings carved into the rock face. Day 12: Cortez to Tusayan B After breakfast, begin your journey to Tusayan, stopping en route at the Four Corners Monument, also known as Four Corners Tribal Park. Day 13: Tusayan to Bryce Canyon After breakfast, travel to the Grand Canyon National Park, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Continue to Bryce Canyon, where you’ll spend the night just outside the national park. Day 14: Bryce Canyon B Marvel at the unique rock amphitheatres and towers of Bryce Canyon. Day 15: Bryce Canyon to Las Vegas B Journey to the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas, with a stop en route to visit Zion National Park. Enjoy an evening on the famous Sunset Strip. Day 16: Las Vegas to the UK Transfer for your overnight return flight to the UK, or continue on to your chosen extension.
