Day 2: Manila D On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Day 3: Manila B/L/D After breakfast, embark on a tour of Manila. Experience the Walled City of Intramuros, before stopping at Fort Santiago. Travel through cobbled streets to San Agustin Church, before visiting Casa Manila. This afternoon, experience Ayala Avenue, the famous Ayala Triangle and Ayala Museum before a short walk along the Greenbelt Area. Day 4: Manila to Banaue B/L/D Begin today’s drive towards Banaue, stopping en route at the well-preserved town of Bacolor. Traverse the southern gateway of Cagayan Valley, across the Caraballo Mountains and through Dalton Pass. Take in breathtaking views of Sierra Madre and Caraballo Mountains, before beginning the 1,300m climb to Banaue, stopping halfway in Lagawe. This evening, enjoy a Ifugao folklore show. Day 5: Banaue B/L/D Board a local Jeepney to explore Banaue. Catch a glimpse of the magnificent terraces from the Barangay Viewpoint, before hiking down for lunch, and visiting the village of Batad. Return to Banaue to explore the market. Day 6: Banaue to Sagada B/L/D Embark on a scenic drive to Sagada stopping en route at a Bontoc village and the Bontoc Museum. Continue onwards to Sagada, witness the Lumiang Cave, a sacred burial ground where ancient pinewood coffins can be seen, before visiting the Sagada Weaving House. Day 7: Sagada to Vigan B/L/D After breakfast, travel through high mountain passes to reach Cervantes, then continue to Bessang Pass, the site of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II. Enjoy a visit to the village of Santa Maria and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Church of the Assumption, before arriving in Vigan. Day 8: Vigan to Manila, via Laoag B/L/D Today, travel north towards Paoay stopping en route at San Augustin church and Malacanang of the North. Next, visit the village of Marcos and the Marcos Museum & Mausoleum before a drive towards Laoag. Upon arrival, explore the Museo Iloko, housed in the old Tabacalera where government-controlled tobacco was stored in colonial times. Later this evening fly to Manila. Day 9: Manila to Bohol B/L/D After breakfast, fly to Bohol. Visit the Philippine Tarsier Foundation, a refuge for the smallest primate in the world, the tarsier. Proceed to Baclayon, visiting a centuries-old stone church and passing the man-made forest of Bilar, grown on the fringes of the highway leading to the Chocolate Hills. Hike up to the viewpoint for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding area before moving on to Loboc River for a cruise downstream. Day 10: Bohol B/D Enjoy your day at leisure to explore the island or relax at the beach. Day 11: Bohol to Cebu B/D Enjoy your day at leisure to explore the island or relax at the beach. Day 12: Cebu B/L Start your day with an early ferry ride over to Cebu, upon arrival take a tour of a mango processing factory and taste the best mangoes in the world. Admire the beautiful valley between the barangays of Babag and Bonbon as you drive up the mountain. Stop at the Adlawon Vacation Farm, a mango orchard and a farm. Enjoy a late lunch here before travelling on to at Chateau De Busay. Proceed to Eco Mountain Resort West 35 for a picturesque 360-degree view of the Balamban Mountains. Day 13: Cebu to the UK B Enjoy your day at leisure before your flight to the UK, or continue on to your chosen extension.
