DAY 12 ¡ SOFIA: Spend time at Rila Monastery, seat of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and UNESCO Heritage Site. Gaze at its colourful frescoes, ornate iconography, and intricate woodcarvings. Enjoy a farewell dinner and folklore show in Sofia. DAY 13
