The next day, enjoy a full-day city tour through the colourful flower market in Chinatown, the majestic Wat Pho, and the impressive Grand Palace. In the afternoon, navigate along Bangkok’s khlongs (canals) in a traditional longtail boat, then enjoy a dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Venture to the famous floating market of Damnoen Saduak, where you can witness the locals trading colourful produce from wooden canoes. On the way to the historic town of Kanchanaburi, pass by mango and lychee plantations and a coconut farm. Pay tribute to World War II prisoners at the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum and see the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai before continuing to Ayutthaya for dinner. DAY 5 “ AYUTTHAYA: In the morning, explore Ayutthaya’s UNESCO historical park and the ancient royal monastery of Wat Yai Chaimongkhol. Visit the Summer Palace before enjoying a scenic journey through rural Thailand. Lunch en route to Sukhothai. DAY 6 “ SUKHOTHAI: Delight in the tranquillity of the ancient Sukothai Historical Park before heading to one of the largest monasteries in Si Satchanalai, Wat Chang Lom. Lunch near the Yom River before continuing to Chiang Mai. DAY 7 & 8 “ CHIANG MAI: Visit the Kanta Elephant Sanctuary, where you can prepare fruit for, walk, and bathe the elephants. and ride a local Tuk Tuk to the renowned night market in Chiang Mai. Try your hand at cooking at The Best Cooking School before enjoying the panoramic sunset views from Doi Suthep mountain. Visit the Wat Phra That shrine and conclude the day with a traditional Khantoke dinner and local dance performance. DAY 9 & 10 “ CHIANG RAI: Leaving Chiang Mai, ascend Thailand’s mountains to Thaton, before a peaceful boat cruise along the Kok River. Continue to the iconic Golden Triangle and on to Chiang Rai.
