DAY 2 & 3 ˜ HAVANA: Explore Old Havana, passing colourful, colonial-era buildings as you stroll its winding streets. Stop at Floridita’s Bar, the famous hangout of Ernest Hemingway, and visit the Rum Museum before browsing the city’s lively craft markets. A tour in classic American cars ends in Revolution Square where a memorial pays homage to revolutionary heroes Jose Marti and Che Guevara. DAY 4 & 5 ˜ VIÑALES: Stop at Las Terrazas, located in a UNESCO-listed biosphere, to learn about the local community. Wander the botanical gardens of Soroa before continuing to Viñales. Visit a traditional tobacco farm and witness how Cuba’s famed cigars are rolled. After lunch, a boat ride brings you to Cueva del Indio, once an ancient indigenous dwelling, and Mural de La Prehistoria. Enjoy a Cuban cocktail lesson. DAY 6 & 7 ˜ BAY OF PIGS & CIENFUEGOS: Stop at Guama Crocodile Breeding Farm. Visit Giron museum and the Bay of Pigs, site of a failed CIA-backed invasion in 1961. Continue onto Cienfuegos, where a welcome cocktail awaits you. Spend the next day in Cienfuegos, the “pearl of the south”. Visit the Tomas Terry theatre, Palacio Ferrer, Palacio de Valle, and Parque Jose Marti, lined with examples of the city’s 19th- and 20th-century architecture, before journeying to Trinidad. DAY 8 ˜ TRINIDAD: See Trinidad’s stately architecture and the Romantic Museum, located in the former mansion of Conde de Brunet, a wealthy sugar baron.
