DAY 5 - PUDUCHERRY: Take a rickshaw ride around the French Quarter, admiring colonial architecture like the 200-year old Raj Niwas and the Notre Dame des Anges. Discover your inner yogi at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville (the 'City of Dawn'), an experiment in alternative living. DAY 6 - THIRUVANNAMALAI: Explore Arunachaleswara Temple at the foot of the mystical Arunachala mountain. Pass the sanctorum housing the ancient Agni Linga to reach the Virupaksha cave, where Sri Ramana Maharshi meditated for 23 years.
