South Africa Add-On: Kruger National Park Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger Arrive in Johannesburg and transfer to the Hippo Hollow Country Estate for dinner this evening. Day 2: Kruger National Park Safaris are all about early starts. You will depart your hotel around sunrise to embark on a full day 4x4 game drive in the Kruger National Park. Depending on the time of the year, you will either have an early breakfast at the hotel or you will take a breakfast pack with you to enjoy at one of the rest camps. Accompanied by an experienced game ranger, you will tour the park in an open- sided vehicle, offering the very best safari experience with a clear view of the game from an elevated position. Stretching across a vast area of over 19000 square kilometres, Kruger boasts incredible landscapes and the greatest variety of animals including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) as well as giraffe, hyena, cheetah, hippos, warthogs and many species of antelope and smaller animals.
