Discover what you’ll experience: DAY 1-3 - UK TO SANTIAGO: Depart the UK on your overnight flight to Santiago. Enjoy a city tour visiting the Government Palace, Plaza de Armas – the heart and soul of Santiago – and Santa Lucia Hill. Walk the exclusive residential neighbourhoods of Vitacura and Las Condes. DAY 4 & 5 - ATACAMA: Fly to Calama in the Atacama Desert, thought to be the driest place on Earth. An early start brings you to the Tatio Geysers in the Andean Mountains: ringed by volcanoes, over 80 geysers shoot multicoloured steam some 50 metres into the air. In the evening, visit Moon Valley to watch the sunset. DAY 6-8 - BOLIVIAN SALT FLATS: Visit the Salt Flats by 4x4 Jeep, stopping at the Emerald Green Lagoon, hot springs of Polques, and geysers of Sol de Mañana to marvel at pools of boiling mud. A trip to Isla Incahuasi reveals panoramic views over this prehistoric island with its pyramids of salt left behind by miners. DAY 9 – LA PAZ: Located 3,600 metres above sea level, discover this dizzying city on a tour of the Plaza Murillo, Cathedral, and Presidential Palace. See the 16th-centry San Francisco Church and wander the charming colonial street of Calle Jean. Finish the day at Valle de la Luna. DAY 10-13 - PUNO & CUSCO: Visit the Uros Islands and meet local women selling their handicrafts. Stop at La Raya Pass, the Raqchi Ruins and Andahuaylillas village before arriving in Cusco. Here, you’ll visit the ancient Incan Temple of the Sun and the Plaza de Armas, then drive to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, where peculiar granite slabs up to six metres in length fit perfectly on top of one another. Rise early to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu.
